@mitchrobFC23 @FT_Merchant05 Which is the accurate and fair way to look at it. Regardless of feelings heβs objectively one of the most consistently injured good players ever going back to college. heβs not the right guy at all to be getting the blame for load management
@DrewHanlen Which is why you have to watch players careers in full context not just rely on numbers. If you go back and watch games from different eras itβs very clear how impossible it is to try and compare them almost everything is different
@tadrip1@EdubEsq@DrewHanlen He had about as long a career as you could have with his style of play. A small, undersized attacking guard who banged in the paint the way he did was always going to hit the wall at some point
@mbass100@DrewHanlen@TyJohnsonNews it was the contested long 2βs( which everybody shot back then) that killed his efficiency. He was great finishing at the rim and drawing fouls
@TheFacilityFS1 @EmmanuelAcho The Eagles lost the superbowl then had the 9th pick in the draft right after and drafted Jalen Carter. That type of FO brilliance and long term planning doesnβt currently exist in Dallas
@JoshuaCReeves @KevinOConnorNBA Maybe too drastic but the winning teams players should get tie breakers for their teams in the event that their team has the same record as another team in the conference. Theyβd have to go back to the draft format which wasnβt a bad idea.
@DavisCollin@KBeckEagles It was dumb even at time. He was 24 when they traded him and They went 9-7, 11-5, 12-5 the 3 years with Him and Derrick Henry and Vrabel. It was a good team
@TheOldNarrator@HiNoteee But heβs not just playing because heβs healthy enough heβs still no worse than the 12th best player in the world at 40 and after 22 Consecutive seasons. Thatβs never happened in basketball before and itβll likely never happen again
@talkwitchubbs@SoufParkMack@SaycheeseDGTL I seen somewhere there was someone a year or two older than Jalen Rose who had the name. But ultimately he made it popular especially in sports
@SoufParkMack@SaycheeseDGTL Technically there probably was someone with the name somewhere before he was born but in reality heβs the reason the name became so widely used
@LegionHoops@nytimes@TheAthletic I hope he does. Thats actually what is hurting the NBA as far as American born stars itβs better if they stay in college longer and now with NIL they donβt have to leave early. Build the college legacy like they used to and that builds him even more hype for the pros.
@idk0133@SportsRadioWIP NE definitely will/should make a play for Higgins and Cooper Kupp feels like the most obvious Patriot ever. Idk if theyβll give up the picks for AJ (plus probably a new contract to keep him happy) unless they strike out and get desperate
