CBC deliberately omitted the most important context in their coverage of Const. Marc Pinizzotto’s murder: the raid was directly tied to an Iran-backed terror network (Kata’ib Hezbollah operatives with IRGC ties) that carried out the March U.S. Consulate shooting and linked synagogue attacks

US prosecutors have already charged the overseas commander directing these attacks. 19-year-old Nicholas Bennett has now been charged with first-degree murder for killing the officer during the raid. Another 19-year-old suspect, Zara Jabbi, remains at large and armed

This appears to be Canada’s first killing of a police officer on our own soil by a foreign-funded terror cell

Yet CBC’s frontpage story framed it only as routine “gun crimes” with a vague consulate mention — no terror cell, no foreign backing, no national security threat

The same publicly funded broadcaster that maintains a reporter embedded inside Iran under regime restrictions

These people spent the last year strongly holding the opposition to account so that Carney could secure his majority. Only once secured has there been anything resembling demands for accountability
