@ira_joseph It's the same producers in eastern Australia as in the US, ExxonMobil, Shell, ConocoPhillips, and the rest of the LNG consortiums in Queensland, control around 80% of gas output and even more of the remaining 2P reserves. Their priority is to maximise returns, hence LNG focus.
