Your late 20s and early 30s are when life starts collecting payment. Your friendships shrink, your parents age, your bills grow, your career demands more, your body needs attention and your mind is still trying to recover from your early 20s.
“Speak to your children as if they are the wisest, kindest, most beautiful and magical humans on earth, for what they believe is what they will become.”
Bro to Bro: Not every person deserves to know your house. Some friendships belong at work, church, or at the club. As a man, privacy isn’t optional…, it’s power. Keep the circle tight.
“If you spend your time chasing butterflies, they will fly away.
But if you spend your time making a beautiful garden, the butterflies will come.
Do not chase, attract.”
Stop chasing attention like it's free Wi-Fi. 😂
The moment you realize you're enough with or without anyone texting, calling, or liking your posts, life gets a lot quieter and somehow they start looking for you instead.
Age 20 – 35 is weird and scary for men;
- Friends are getting married
- Someone is buying a new home
- Someone is still struggling to even begin
- Someone is earning well and “settled”
- Parents are getting older every year
- Responsibilities increase silently
- Comparison becomes unavoidable
- Nights are full of overthinking
- Dreams feel expensive
- Time feels faster
- You smile in public.
- You fight battles in silence.
- You question your worth at 2 AM.
- You’re not lazy.
- You’re not failing.
- You’re just carrying too much alone.
Then age 35 - 55 become scarier;
> Close friends get busier with family
> Other friends give up on life
> Parents and mentors start to struggle with health
> Your first born is either a teenager or almost getting married
> Friends start dying from health issues
> Some people you respected fall to drugs
> You realize how frustrated most of people are
> You start to realize the importance of creating solid relationships in your teens and 20s
> If you've built nothing tangible, you start to feel like a failure.
It's not an easy phase for most men.
