Wonderful speech from #repealhero @ClareDalyTD "almost like the country is atoning for everything it's done to women" and crediting legend @ailbhes "...who stood there when there was no glory to be had" (via @IrishTimes) https://t.co/WeL1hmX1z5
@BrenMalone@Dingleforyes It's cotton sheets, a wee bit of quilt padding ,acrylic paint and two wooden batons for ovary waving , it folds up very neat and tidy :)
@davitter@peterstafford @newschambers @TheresaNewIdea@greenparty_ie@Dingleforyes It's only really hit me today, I was in a state of shock from when the exit polls came out, I don't think any of us dared to believe and to get such an unreserved yes ,literally blew my mind, it's really taken to today for it to sink in.
What a stunning result! But until legislation kicks in (end of year ish) women still have to travel. So from now on, proceeds from anything we sell from our online shop goes to @AbortionSupport who look after those who still need to travel and need logistical & financial help.
Lovely quiet exchange in Dingle today with the woman who served me coffee.
She: 'I like your Tá badge.'
Me: 'Thanks'
She: 'It's an important vote isn't it?'
Me: 'Yeah.'
Then we just smiled at each other.

I am voting Yes for the women of Ireland who have been let down by our health service and by our government time and time again. If we really want women to be placed at the centre of their own care, Vote Yes to allow us to make the choice about our own care #WhoNeedsYourYes
