Finally, as the school was relocated to its current site, it was decided that the school should be more tolerant, particularly of those less fortunate, and the doors to Arsenal supporters were opened. 3/3
Did you know the story behind the Knightsfield uniform and logo? Back in 1965 when the school was sited at Tewin, the colour and design of the uniform and PE kit was changed to navy and white in homage to the mighty Tottenham Hotspur. 1/3
In fact, for many years, the school would not accept students nor employ teachers who could not prove their support for the greatest football team in the world.
It wasn't until the 1980s that supporters of other clubs were enrolled at the school but even then... 2/3
Yesterday, Mr Bidwell spoke at the @NDCS_UK conference on the important subject of Co-determination, co-production and developing the confidence of our young people to make decisions.
