When in need there is a balance you have to find, somewhere between pride and humility but people don’t seem to understand that you can have nothing and still have standards.

The saying goes; “beggars can’t be choosers”... but why can’t they? It’s almost as if a disdain and superiority comes over people when they help those in need. Like “you have to take whatever I’m giving you, even if I wouldn’t take it myself— or even if it’s literally my trash… and if you don’t then you can never ask for help again”. It’s wrong.

@SA1NT_MEDUSA Like you said, I think discernment is key. It’s important to not let our pride make us unnecessarily stubborn but also to know when to push through when your intuition is telling you to. There’s still time to explore, don’t let that be a regret!
