@elonmusk Our beta was essentially a public rating system for *research* to help [a] reduce the crap research out there; and [b] help researchers connect at conferences via shared location. Our UX is/was similar but more dynamic than the old-school hotornot website... 2/3

Can't we work on a post-pub peer review system that better connects researchers to societal needs, & increase the incentives for usefulness to society?

@lsgardiner@iamscicomm I think maybe the easiest way to get something like haikus out there is to reach college students and high school students first -- kinda the old "Facebook" strategy, if you will. And then expand the audience from there...
