Sturgeon having a drink isn’t an issue, who cares. But socialising with Lawyer acting on behalf of Covid bereaved families who are taking the Scot Govt to court over deaths when Sturgeon was FM isn’t a good look. It’s like they’re part of one big club and we’re not part of it.
Nicola Sturgeon having a glass of wine in the sun with her pal Claire Mitchell KC.
Wait a minute, isn't that the same Claire Mitchell KC who "cross-examined" Nicola Sturgeon at the Covid Inquiry?
Delighted that Court of Appeal found in my favour and dismissed Appeal by Dale Vince against me.
This case should never have been started and I trust my full costs will be covered.
Twana Jamal made an estimated £4 million a year from people smuggling and served 5 years in a French 🇫🇷 prison.
He owns loads of vape type businesses in Britain 🇬🇧 and we are considering his application for asylum.
Labour is suddenly very interested in who funds political parties. Good. Let’s talk about theirs.
Labour wasn’t just funded by the trade unions. It was created by them. They control half the votes at its conference. Half the party’s money has historically come from theme.
Almost no other Western democracy allows this. Sweden’s Social Democrats abolished formal union affiliation in 1990. Germany’s SPD never had it. In America, unions donate they don’t sit inside the party writing its rules.
And since taking office? Minimum service laws repealed. Strike rights expanded. A Fair Work Agency created. Above-inflation public sector pay deals. Rail nationalised.
The question we need to ask is whether your backers benefit from your decisions in government. Labour’s do. Directly. Repeatedly. By design.
So here is the question nobody in Westminster wants to ask: when Labour ministers legislate, who are they representing? The British people or the institutions that fund them, staff them, and hold voting rights over their party?
That is not a normal donor relationship. It is structural. And it is long past time it was examined properly by Parliament, by the Electoral Commission, and by the public. If Reform’s funding deserves scrutiny, so does a governing party constitutionally owned by its paymasters.
This is beyond disgusting.
Britain is a country that releases foreign grooming gang ringleaders early, doesn’t tell the victims, and claims it cannot deport them.
Britain is broken.
Swinney is a liar …
Swinney knows Susan Aitken has destroyed Glasgow as they did it on purpose .
They calculated that if devolution failed it would lead to unlimited power to a handful of SNP nationalists .
Along the way they forgot people , their kids and their businesses would suffer for their greed and corruption ..
Never forget what these cunts have put us through folks .
You can’t hate them enough ….
When even Scotland's top lawyers are questioning the Lord Advocate's dual role, you know there's a problem. The SNP have spent years insisting everything's fine.
It clearly isn't.
Yet another SNP "flagship" policy sinks without trace.
Roads. NHS. Ferries. Education. They all end up the same way;
GP Clinics can now be added to the list.
Failure has become the SNP's default setting.
So ………
@JohnSwinney hasn’t been on the platform for over 24 hrs , the SNP fraud , Sturgeon etc is not going away anytime soon as it’s absolutely horrific and meanwhile in Scottish cities your new Scots are raping themselves through our woman and children ..
Our politicians don’t know what sex they are while raking in public funded wages the highest pay in Scotland ..
You want an independent Scotland John ???
Seriously ??
The 110th anniversary of The Somme. First day of walking from the Thiepval memorial through to Newfoundland Park (the trenches). Our service and laying of our wreath at Thiepval was emotional and I walked away from the memorial with a promise to do everything I can to help secure our borders and to protect our people and children. A promise I shall keep! We will remember them!🎖️
Rule Britannia 🫡🇬🇧🏴
Suicidal empathy is forcing the British people to send Pakistan £111 million to buy condoms & support “family planning” while British politicians shrug their shoulders as Pakistan refuses to take back a grooming gang ringleader.
The SNP accepted millions in taxpayers' money.
Now, after Peter Murrell's conviction, MPs want a joint inquiry and the Electoral Commission is reviewing the party's accounts.
The scandal isn't over.
Without @X & @ElonMusk the government would never have been shamed into having a rape gang inquiry
And we would never have seen the masked & armed Muslim gangs during the Southport protests
This is why our leaders hate X.
It stops them controlling the narrative.
“Their instinct was to silence a democratically elected politician and censor her. Rather than being interested in what the truth was, they were more interested in silencing me.”
Shadow Energy Secretary and former Energy Secretary @ClaireCoutinho wrote an article in The Telegraph questioning the costings produced by the Department she once led. The Climate Change Committee — a public body — then lodged a complaint alleging that Claire’s article had breached the Independent Press Standards Organisation (IPSO) Editors’ Code.
Rather than engage with the substance of her arguments, they sought to silence her.
Claire fought back, but she is concerned that many others will keep their opinions to themselves when they should feel free to speak out.
Cancel culture is stifling debate on Net Zero and energy policy.
