🎅🏼 On the second day of Christmas break the CCHL gave to me the @OttawaJrSens

The Ottawa Jr Senators were founded in 1979 as the Ottawa Senators and modified their name when the NHL franchise was brought to town in 1992. They are 7-time Bogart Cup Champions, most recently in 2018, 2019, 2022 and 2023. Their most notable alumni is defenseman Jamie Rivers who played 454 NHL Games and 339 AHL games.

Leading the Jr Senators in points this season is Jack Matsukubo with 36 points (22G, 14A) in 36 games played. Their all-time point leader is Mike Stoddart with 330 points over his 5-year career.

If you attend an OJS game you will likely see a familiar face in Rose Courchaine who has been a volunteer in the league since the 80’s starting with the Gloucester Rangers and joining the Jr. Senators in the early 90’s
