Well maybe because for his first cycle of arrest all his properties were seized so right after he did what all super wealthy do. He set up the trust system to take ownership of his assets and rent them out to himself. That way he is insulated, gets access to use them and gets a huge tax break. There’s so much to learn about finances and money if you think having things in your name is a sign of wealth.
