Stepped up big time behind the plate for us this year. Handled our pitching staff really well and was awesome to throw to. Anyone need a catcher who’s an absolute gamer? This is your guy!

My good buddy @SanbornHayden has had a tweet liked by the @RobbyBerger himself. Take a moment and congratulate him. Truly special stuff from the kid on this Thursday.

[John Creel @JohnEcreel]

I’ve met tons of hard throwers who don’t think a single thing other than

“idk man I just throw it as hard as I can”

I’ve never once met a dude that thinks a ton and throws 100.

Lesson in there (for me too)

From 84-86 T88 in pens, to now topping 93 mph, an athlete update from Performance coach @htownsend18 🔥

Tread Athlete Kobe Allen started at 84-85, up to 88 mph in bullpens.

Recently, he's been up to 93 and has thrown more innings this year than in the entire rest of his college career.

Over this past year, we used Roll-Ins and slowly added in the slope to help him feel getting down through his block at foot strike. We also leaned heavily on long toss, which led to some more athletic patterns and self-organization. Interestingly, the glove side changed a lot during this time as well, without any kind of cueing or drills.

He finished the year with 39Ks in 29.1 IP. The next step is to lower that walk rate 😤
