Sinwar's October 7 Plan Included an Israeli Nuclear Response Scenario

The Jerusalem Post has published details of what it says is a handwritten document by former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, written about a year before the October 7, 2023 attack.

According to the report, the document contains a detailed operational plan for the assault, including the distribution of fighters across targets, methods for breaching the Gaza border fence, and Sinwar’s assessment of Israel’s likely response, including the possibility that Israel could resort to nuclear weapons.

Trump's plan, together with the Peace Council's proposal, has been reduced from rebuilding Gaza to establishing a "temporary" camp in Rafah as a pilot project.

This is the future now being envisioned for Gazans: years of living in tents or, at best, prefabricated caravans, surviving on meals from community kitchens and depending on the charity of international organizations for food parcels and basic hygiene kits.

Israel, together with Hamas's catastrophic mistakes, has reduced an entire people to a life of mere survival, stripped of dreams, stripped of ambition, and stripped of the ability to shape their own future.

The old Gaza is gone.
