@johnsplaining@alaafromgaza92 It's because they are opposed to the idea of a predominantly Jewish state in the region. The same way they want to dominate kurdish, armenian, assyrian national aspirations . The Palestinians have genuine national identity but they don't care either about them.
"Our first mission is to keep going, to bring the voices of the victims and explain and analyze what we see. To show the truth, especially when the system works so hard to conceal it."
Yuli Novak, Executive Director of B’Tselem, in conversation with @AhmedMoor, fellow at @FMEP on the Occupied Thoughts podcast, addresses the struggle against Israel’s genocidal apartheid regime in the Gaza Strip and ethnic cleansing in the West Bank, as well as the responsibilities, limits and challenges facing organisations working on the ground.

BREAKING: Israeli settler terrorists are attacking the village of Jalud in the West Bank, setting homes and fields on fire and attempting to burn a family alive.
At least five Palestinian civilians have been injured.
Hamas has elected Khalil al-Hayya as its new leader. He is no better than the psychopath Yahya Sinwar, who openly called for the sacrifice of Palestinian children in Gaza, a rhetoric that Khalil al-Hayya has repeatedly echoed.
Just listen to a few minutes of speeches by Hamas leaders, and you'll quickly realize that many of them view the suffering of our people in Gaza not as a tragedy to be prevented, but as a sacrifice to be embraced for a greater cause.
The future of our people in Gaza is being held hostage by a handful of psychopaths.
These three Palestinian children were burned alive in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza last night.
This is what is happening in Gaza during the so-called ceasefire.
Murdering and burning children alive is terrorism, plain and simple.
@alaafromgaza92 Alaa, it happened & happens. Remember the Tutsis in Rwanda. They had nowhere to flee as many of them just got expulsed from neighbouring countries. Remember the Bosnians. They got mass killed by the Serbs and the Croatians after Croatia & Slovenia & Austria closed their borders.
Sinwar's October 7 Plan Included an Israeli Nuclear Response Scenario
The Jerusalem Post has published details of what it says is a handwritten document by former Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar, written about a year before the October 7, 2023 attack.
According to the report, the document contains a detailed operational plan for the assault, including the distribution of fighters across targets, methods for breaching the Gaza border fence, and Sinwar’s assessment of Israel’s likely response, including the possibility that Israel could resort to nuclear weapons.

Trump's plan, together with the Peace Council's proposal, has been reduced from rebuilding Gaza to establishing a "temporary" camp in Rafah as a pilot project.
This is the future now being envisioned for Gazans: years of living in tents or, at best, prefabricated caravans, surviving on meals from community kitchens and depending on the charity of international organizations for food parcels and basic hygiene kits.
Israel, together with Hamas's catastrophic mistakes, has reduced an entire people to a life of mere survival, stripped of dreams, stripped of ambition, and stripped of the ability to shape their own future.
The old Gaza is gone.

Israel has been killing Palestinians every day in Gaza since the so-called “ceasefire,” while Hamas has not fired a single bullet or attempted to defend the Palestinian people. Why? Simply because Hamas knows it cannot defeat Israel, and they prefer their own survival, even at the expense of Palestinian blood.
To all the folks who believed Hamas could provide any “protection” to Palestinians: welcome to reality.
One year ago today, on July 17, 2025, an Israeli tank shell struck the Holy Family Catholic Church in Gaza City—the only Catholic parish in Gaza—killing three Christian civilians.
Saad Salameh, 60. Fumayya Ayyad, 84. Najwa Abu Dawood, 71.
May their memories be eternal.
Please keep all Palestinians in Gaza, including the Christian minority, in your prayers, and pray for their safety.
I.e., Israel forces Muslim women to submit to Sharia for all things related to family law — because there's no civil marriage in Israel.
That this is considered a positive trait of the State of Israel, rather than a profoundly anti-Western feature, is mind-boggling.
A new documentary called American Doctor, showing what US doctors witnessed in Gaza, featuring Drs. Thaer Ahmad, and Mark Perlmutter, will be in theaters in August.
@MosabHasanYOSEF Pls remember you @MosabHasanYOSEF were stateless before becoming a refugee in the US with rights provided as part of refugee status. Well above what you had in Ramallah. Why on earth is someone born in Ramallah still stateless?
@MosabHasanYOSEF They are Palestinians since Palestiaane mandate ended in 1948 and since then they were stateless. If Israel or Jordan or Libanon or Egypt would have granted citizenship, then they would have become Israelis, Libanese... and if after 80 years NOBODY wants to give them citizenshi
