📝: On July 12, 2026, mgk made a surprise appearance during Matt Rife's stand-up comedy show at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California.

Taking the stage as a surprise guest during the show's finale, mgk performed an acoustic version of his song "cliché." mgk also improvised a comedic song inspired by one of Matt Rife's jokes, saying, "That legitimately is word for word of what he said."

In another moment, Rife jokingly suggested that he and an elderly audience member named Genie should have a baby together. "How about we make a better one?" he quipped, drawing laughter from the crowd. Joining in on the bit, mgk sang an improvised song dedicated to Genie, while Rife joked about her "scrambled eggs" and called her "too cute."

The playful exchange continued as mgk asked if he should leave the stage, prompting Rife to jokingly tell him to stay and "pull up her shower chair and just watch," keeping the audience laughing through the end of the show.

As the performance wrapped up, Rife thanked mgk for joining him onstage, saying, "Love you, man. Thank you for doing this."
