Join me today on @TimesRadio at 08.05 where I will be discussing the upcoming bill seeking to legalise assisted suicide. I urge all people of good will to oppose this legislation and, instead, to advocate for better funded palliative care.

This is an important moment in our history.
On 13th November at 5.30pm, the Bishops of @catholicEW will pray before the Blessed Sacrament, asking God's blessing on our country. We pray that minds and hearts will be opened to see the life of every person as a gift from God.
Please join me in praying on 13th November for the dignity of human life and that we may uphold a culture of life in our countries. In front of the Blessed Sacrament, let us pray that assisted suicide will not become the law in our lands.

This Wednesday a bill will be introduced to Parliament proposing a change in the law to permit assisted suicide. As this debate unfolds, I ask you to play your part in it. Write to your MP. Have discussions with family, friends and colleagues. And pray.

The #DeathPenalty is always inadmissible, because it attacks the inviolability and dignity of the person. I appeal for its abolition in all countries of the world. We must not forget that a person can repent and change, even up until the very last moment of their life.
It was a pleasure to celebrate Mass with those priests of @RCWestminster who are celebrating significant jubilees of priesthood this year. We pray for them and their ministry, that they may continue to be faithful servants and friends of the Lord.
Ad multos annos!
I am saddened by the news coming from #Lebanon about bombings, death, and destruction. May the international community make every effort to stop this terrible escalation. It is unacceptable. I express my solidarity with the Lebanese people, who have already suffered too much.
Life is always worth living, and there is always hope for the future, even when everything seems to be over. The fact that each of us exists is a unique gift for both ourselves and for others. God never abandons us - He knows how to listen, rejoice, and weep with us.
With such a huge majority. Can’t lie I am worried for just regular folk who’ve worked hard & saved all their lives, very much hope I’m proved wrong. I’m old enough to have lived through several Labour governments & seen the consequences 😔 we mustn’t spend what we don’t have.

This 👇🏼 is simply cheating young women out of what’s rightfully theirs in plain sight ! It’s 100 % wrong & those cheating know it too & don’t care.
I am woman hear me Roar! And I will keep on roaring until we are not told our feelings & rights are less important. Come roar with us, it’s been a colossal struggle for generations of women gone before to get these rights & opportunities, with good men beside us, we fight on.
On his recent visit to Rome, Bishop Keenan visited Monsignor Charlie Burns, a senior priest of the Diocese of Paisley who has spent many years working at the Vatican Archives. Pictured is a moving moment when blessings were exchanged.
