Yui Kimura, as an original Character, has not existed since September 2024.

The last Original, Non-Licensed Outfit she received was Racing Simulator in the Gameplay Expo Collection. Even then, that skin felt out of Character to a degree, but I digress.
She has not received any original Banner, Badge, Charm, Lore, or anything of the sort since then either.

Since October 2024, she has received:
- Licensed Rift Cosplay (Shanoa's Dress, Oct '24)
- Licensed Rift Deep Rift (Shanoa's Dress, Oct '24)
- Original Single Piece (DBD Day Shirt, Oct '24)
- Licensed Store Cosplay (Tsukiko's Uniform, Jan '25)
- Licensed Store Cosplay (Rabbit Costume, Mar '25)
- Licensed Store Cosplay (Kaoru's Triumph, Sept '25)
- Licensed Store Cosplay (Dark Mikasa, April '26)
- Original Single Piece (Black Banquet Mask, Jun '26)
- Licensed Legendary Character (A2, Oct '26)

Her Character has been effectively phased out for a cosplayer instead. Something she was never said to be interested in from original lore, yet she holds the record for most cosplays and/or licensed skins on an original character.

Will we ever get the Yui Kimura we once knew back? Sounds like a far cry.
Another Character slowly suffering the fate... The Artist. But that's a conversation for another day.

if you're going to accept a culturally watered down + white washed version of your *own* character, you should add a disclaimer that you're going to change it in future

over the years we've seen so many of the POC characters get shafted culturally + whitewashed in-game, through artwork you share, cosplays, etc.

once again, you have cultural consultants. please think beforehand.
