Today’s Tradeit update might be late or skipped.
I’m working on the lobby UI/UX right now and it’s taking way longer than expected.
The lobby has to feel like the place where battles start, not just another dashboard.
Nothing feels right yet 💀
Next up:
- verify the full flow from creating a Tradeit account to starting the first 1v1 battle
- add live chat inside matches so users can comment while watching
- start designing and building Commentator Mode
Commentator Mode will be one of the bigger technical challenges, so I’ll most likely ship it closer to the end of the full UI/UX build.
The strongest part is Same Token Duel Lens.
When both traders trade the same token, users can switch Chart Mode into a duel view:
- one shared chart
- both traders on the same price action
- avatars showing exact buy/sell moments
- verdicts like Better Entry, Better Exit, Higher Conviction and Cleaner Risk
Day 6 of vibe coding a Faceit-style platform for Solana traders and the community.
Today I designed and shipped:
- wallet tracker
- match sharing modal
Chart Mode is taking more time than I expected
It needs more thinking, better component layout, and a lot of small UI/UX details to make it feel right. I think it should be ready by Thursday, so I’ll show it in the next progress update
Next up:
- continue working on Chart Mode
- design and ship the battle commentator
btw, picking the right background graphic for the battle/result share image took me 3+ hours lol
Really clean so far
A few things I’d love to see:
1. Limit orders
2. Holder count + holder growth over time
3. Bubble map / wallet cluster view for token supply
4. Wallet labels on the chart: dev, smart wallets, fresh wallets, top holders
5. Alerts for big top-holder sells or sudden liquidity changes
The chart + social layer already feels strong. More wallet context would make it even more useful
Day 5 of vibe coding a Faceit-style platform for Solana traders and the community.
Today was focused on making 1v1 battles more detailed and easier to follow live
Designed and shipped:
- token modal with chart + details for bought tokens
- full event log modal with deeper info about key battle events
- live match notifications for important battle updates
The battle page is starting to feel more interactive and match-like, even while the data is still mocked
Next up:
- Chart Mode
- Match sharing modal
Really curious to see if you’ll like the Chart Mode
Day 4 of vibe coding a Faceit-style platform for Solana traders and the community.
Today I added an activity status panel for traders and users
I also started building the 1v1 battle page and moved the first match UI into code
Designed and shipped:
- battle participants panel
- rank and rank badge system
- Token Battle Board for tracking bought and sold tokens in real time
- Battle Feed with short live match summaries
- Battle Curve chart for tracking trader ROI during the battle
The 1v1 match view is starting to become the core arena of the product
Next up: more match panels, cleaner UX, and making battles feel even more alive
A small lesson from building Tradeit
Vibe coding helps you move fast, but it does not replace taste
UI/UX still matters a lot
Every component needs attention:
the sidebar, buttons, cards, states, animations, empty screens, flows.
When everyone can build with AI, the product that feels better will win
Don’t ship AI slop
Ship something people actually want to use
Day 2 of vibe coding a Faceit-style platform for Solana traders and the community
Today was focused on making the platform feel more interactive and usable
Designed and shipped:
- working search bar for finding traders and quick navigation
- message replies inside live chat
- 1v1 rival selection flow
- pre-match panel before starting a battle
- functional active traders list with filters for Instant 1v1 Battle
- logged-in trader/user profile visible on the home screen
Most of the data is still mocked, but the app is starting to feel less like screens and more like a product people can actually move through
Next step: making the battles and trader stats feel alive

Day 2 of vibe coding a Faceit-style platform for Solana traders and the community.
Today I added Privy wallet login and moved the first UI pass into code.
Built the first product shell:
- connected wallet info panel
- smooth working sidebar
- notifications panel
- live chat for users and traders
- invite panel for adding friends and traders
Still mostly mock data, but it’s starting to feel like a real product
Started building Tradeit.
Faceit for onchain traders on @solana
Traders compete through real wallet performance.
Users follow battles, draft wallets, climb leaderboards, and spot who actually has edge.
> No fake PnL screenshots
> No clout-only rankings
Just wallets, trades, and performance
