Two French ski teams have summited Gasherbrum II and Diran Peak

One French ski team summited the first 8,000m peak of the season yesterday. And another succeeded on a notoriously dangerous 7000er, Diran peak.

Annapurna climbers are at Camp 4, preparing to set off for the summit tonight. Sherpas established the camp yesterday at 7,000m. Pakistani climbers Sirbaz Khan and Abdul Joshi also spent last night there. The rest of the climbers joined them this morning

@sajid_sadpara Thanks for sharing this Sajid, it was great memory. This is right before Ali Bhai left for K2 winter when I had invited him for dinner. We had such a laugh cuz his of peculiar climbing anecdotes, he also spoke about making plans with us to climb Tirich Mir this fall.
