The steel reinforcement has now been transformed into reinforced concrete walls ,a clear sign that the Nairobi River Regeneration Project is moving forward.

After the launch of the Nairobi River Regeneration Project, works are progressing steadily at Zone 5, Korogocho. Construction of the trunk sewer line is ongoing, marking a major step toward improved sanitation, river restoration, and a cleaner, healthier Nairobi for all. 🇰🇪

They saw water recycling, land reclamation with gabions, tree planting & hydroponics supporting children’s feeding. Part of efforts to transform informal settlements.
