Sat down with fellow creative and good friend Adam J. El-Sharawy to talk about writing, Japan and my inspiration on his 'Living Creative' podcast. Had a great time! https://t.co/PmZIA67Lyj
Mmm. I come from a deprived inner London borough and can honestly say I've NEVER 'been there' when a shoplifter has taken a load of alcohol out of the shop.
I have spent most of my adult life however, watching the richest shaft the poorest in society.
This is more distraction.
You should never stop pointing out the grotesque double standards of these ppl and what would happen if a bunch of ppl started proudly tweeting “we don’t care about Jews.”
This is racist, genocide cheerleading. Call it out.
@iancrichton4@EsheruKwaku By that logic, anyone who wanders into the road accidently or without their right mind is good to be run over. Maybe you need to retake your theory driving test, the bit about hazards come to mind ...
Covid was the biggest transfer of power from bosses to workers in 75 years and billionaires were so angry at this they demanded governments inflict 'pain' on the economy to punish 'arrogant' workers and it's amazing how so little analysis of the last 5 years includes this
Not just the highly educated. Welsh miners formed study groups to read Austen and Dickens. Scottish shepherds built lending libraries. Watchmakers & cabinetmakers taught themselves Greek and Latin. The loss of working-class autodidact culture is one of history's great tragedies.
Israel executed Buthaina with direct shots to the head and heart.
On Christmas Eve. In Gaza.
No headlines. No outrage. No condemnation.
Not a peep from the world when Israel mass murder children in both Palestine and Lebanon.
@VenturaWanderer @Cluffalo Which was the state of affairs a few decades ago vis a vis some humans believing they can abuse others too ... so all they're doing is moving that desire to abuse to something else. The intent being the same is perturbing. 'Same as a stress ball' yeah, sure ...
@VenturaWanderer @Cluffalo It's not 'inanimate' though, is it? This is a proxy for a 'person' like entity, revealing that the humans here have an innate desire to abuse and are doing so because it's possibly more socially acceptable ...
Afraid the decision to carry on banishing even though the faithful did their job and banished all #TheTraitors is a level of cruel I'm not on board with. A total dud end to the season, I'm afraid
If your Christianity causes you to be offended by someone asking the most powerful person in the country to be merciful towards the powerless, then you have deeply, deeply misunderstood the teachings of Jesus Christ.
Years ago - I was dating a guy I thought had real long term potential. It was the 1st relationship I had after a slew of not nice men & I was surprised by how kind, attentive & respectful he was.
When it began to get serious - he sat me down to talk about meeting his family. 🧵
Hind Rajab, 6 years old, pleaded for her life for 3 hours.
She and the Red Crescent paramedics who tried to rescue her, were murdered in cold blood by Israeli 🇮🇱 soldiers.
This mural in Dublin 🇮🇪 by Emmalene Blake celebrates her life.
Never forget.
Never forgive.

I live in a Lib Dem seat in Woking. They gained it from the Tories in July. The media coverage for the Lib Dems though, who actually have 72 seats in Parliament compared to Reform who have 5 seats is actually disgusting.
