Komms is a decentralised, censorship resistant communications protocol. Kaspa provides the truth. Bittensor provides usability. Komms connects the user
Komms has officially acquired SN27!
We are building the best decentralised workspace & community app and this is a huge step in achieving this.
We're sure you want to learn more about who we are so we invite you to our "Meet the team" X space later on this evening at 21:00 UTC (Link to space in the comments)
Come and say hi, ask questions, and hear more about Komms.
In the meantime you can check out who we are at: https://t.co/lHLvsn4GuU
See you there.

This is an extremely accurate write up of what we are offering at Komms and how we are achieving this.
Huge shout out to The TAO Daily for such a well researched and articulate write up about Komms.

People and businesses who use Komms will have the added benefits decentralisation gives that other centralised services canโt.
Not only will Komms offer a similar experience and tools people are already used to at an extremely affordable price (seriously look at the calculator on https://t.co/lHLvsn48Fm) but you gain the benefits centralised services canโt offer like real built in protection from data harvesting and far fewer single points of failure.

Ask as many questions as you want ๐ we are grateful for them because it helps others understand who we are and what we are doing.
With regards to being fair to both communities (another great question btw and one we knew would eventually surface). Komms actually benefits both networks as long as Komms gets adopted. The more adoption we get, the more revenue comes in, the bigger the buybacks can become for our Komms
Miners.
For Kaspaโs side the benefits are more kaspa nodes running because every Komms miner needs to run one. This helps secure Kaspaโs network more. Also every txn that goes to kaspa to help us order what address sent a message and when, pays a small fee to kaspa miners (paid for by Komms miners). Again the bigger Komms becomes, the more people use us, the more txns for kaspas miners. Itโs a positive flywheel for all parties involved. The main ingredient is adoption for Komms which is why we are ready for a heavy push for outreach when the app is live.
@taodaily_io Fantastic write up. Youโve made our intern extremely jealous lol
Seriously though youโve really nailed what we are offering. Thank you
We have investors that may support alpha price if needs be. Itโs very much up to us as a team to prove ourselves and this is exactly what we will do. So far local testing has performed well and we are currently iterating to V4 including hardening the IM/VM. Once the app is launched we will start a hard push for revenue, of which 25% goes to buybacks.
We are currently sorting our slot out in discord so hopefully that will go through soon.
Thank you so much. We are honestly extremely excited as well. Really appreciate the good feedback and questions. We look forward to doing ourselves and Bittensor proud ๐ค
@investCryptobro Timeline is currently looking at about a month from now. Currently we are hardening the IM/VM and are moving to a V4 backend engine that needs final testing.
Great question!
We use Bittensor as the decentralized service and incentive layer that recruits, coordinates, verifies, and pays the independent operators who actually run the appโs infrastructure.
Miners run Kaspa nodes plus Komms services in roles such as:
โข Indexing (tracking identities and anchors, serving verified history).
โข Storing/holding encrypted messages, backups, and files (and proving availability).
โข Serving/relaying messages and sponsoring anchors on Kaspa.
โข Validators independently check miners against the canonical Kaspa ordering and storage proofs (via probes, known-answer challenges, delivery tests, and audits). They set weights each epoch so rewards are distributed by performance (correctness, freshness, latency, uptime).
โข Incentives: The subnetโs emissions reward scored work. Separately, miners who front Kaspa fees for anchors are repaid (at cost) from alpha bought with a portion of user subscription revenue. Users themselves do not need to hold TAO or KAS.
