Teacher friends, I know it's still rough this semester. Yet, don't forget how important you are to your students. You could be the person that inspires & motivates them to keep trying. This feedback reminded me of why I love teaching & that what I do is meaningful. #humanizeOL
Can anyone help? I'm trying to find a database of distance education retention (or attrition) rates by higher ed institution (and preferably by year as well). I'm finding enrollment numbers, but that's about it. #highered#DataScience#distancelearning#onlinelearning
@Kristin31954883 That sounds horrible!! Did this happen recently? I’ve been documenting everything, including the forgiveness letter and my loan accounts showing the zero balance.
Even though it's April 1st, thankfully this wasn't a joke! I've been struggling to get my student loans forgiven and was shocked to get this paperwork! Lots of laughter and happy tears! #studentloanforgiveness
@notfromdenver Submitted in Nov, then… 1. Got notified that me/my employer qualified. 2. My loans were moved to the loan forgiveness program. 3. Notified that only 5 yrs of payments counted. 4. Reached out for a review because I knew I had OVER 10 yrs. 5. April, notified loans were forgiven.
@Cbgardner16 Just keep plodding through and jumping through their hoops. I was denied about 3-4 yrs ago, then they were only counting 5 yrs worth of payments. It’s definitely been a rollercoaster to get them forgiven.
@Anda19 As a teacher, I ask my students for feedback each week on how the class is going and what improvements they would recommend. This feedback has provided some of the best ongoing insight into improving my course and how to better communicate/engage with my students. #humanizeOL
