It makes you realize how precious every memory is.

God knows how long I’ve kept this photo of my dog the very first moment I met her. To many, it might just be a simple picture. But to me, it’s one of my most precious treasures. Because I know time will never bring me back to the moment when she looked exactly like this again 🥹. She was still so tiny here. It was the first time I held her, kissed her, and hugged her. She was a gift from my brother for my 18th birthday years ago, a gift given with so much trust and love, believing I could take care of her. And from that day on, she became more than just a pet. She became family. She became my little piece of happiness.

Through the years, we’ve shared so many moments together. There were times when I almost lost her because of some health conditions, and those were some of the hardest moments I’ve faced. But my little girl is strong. She fought through those moments just as much as I fought beside her. That’s how much she means to me.
Every time she sees me, she still wags her tail like it’s the happiest moment of her day. She runs to me, covers me with little licks, and happily lets me carry her like the baby she’ll always be in my eyes. She’s the very first dog I’ve ever truly called my own, and loving her has been one of the purest joys I’ve experienced.

Recently, we faced another health scare, and I’m just hoping and praying that she can fully recover and play again like she always loved to do. My phone gallery is filled with photos of her growing up,hundreds of memories of the life we’ve shared. But this one photo… this one will always be different. Because this was the very first day our story began. I remember having teary eyes the moment I took it, without even realizing how meaningful it would become years later.

That’s why I’ve kept it all this time, and soon I plan to frame it so I can always remember the day I met the little soul who brought so much love into my life. Thank you @joincreatordao for giving us the chance to share moments and memories like this. Some memories truly live forever in our hearts. All love and support to you all team 🤍
