Just to avoid having to explain this later, I’ve already completed all of the campaigns. This is simply my personal opinion.
I played RE6 co-op with my friend, and I’ll admit that it’s not exactly an easy game to control. We died over 50 times during Chris and Piers’ campaign alone.
Ada’s campaign is also quite demanding when it comes to reaction and timing. I’ve completed it once myself and died plenty of times; when I played it with my friend later, I was even more careful because I didn’t want to mess up and make things harder for her.
Even so, I genuinely found the story of every campaign really interesting and engaging.
My thoughts on RE6 remake:
Skipping a campaign isn’t really a big deal to me. Not everyone is going to enjoy playing every character, and that’s completely fine.
What bothers me is when someone doesn’t like a campaign and then thinks that means Capcom should remove it entirely, even though other people enjoy it and it’s an important part of the story.
And honestly, I find it even sadder when people refuse to play a chapter simply because they don’t like it, and then criticize people who did play it for discussing its story — including Aeon-related parts.
If you don’t like Ada, that’s fine. But disliking her doesn’t mean other players shouldn’t get to have her story, her perspective, or the chance to discuss what happens between her and Leon. Your dislike of a character shouldn’t become a reason to take away something other people genuinely enjoy.
