Idiotic.
Could we stop with brain dead flag politics, please?
The left smeared the beautiful and historic Red Ensign as a symbol of white nationalism, despite 115,000 war dead having given their lives under the Ensign, notably in the defeat of fascism.
Then the right wing convoy movement adopted Canada's National Flag as its symbol, until it morphed into the separatist movement and dropped the maple leaf like a hot potato.
Justin Trudeau shamefully lowered our national flag for half a year in a humiliating ritual of national abasement.
Now lefties are trying to stigmatize the display of our beautiful Alberta flag.
All of this reflects the sad contemporary tendency to infect everything with politics.
But flags are pre political. They are unifying symbols designed to be a focal point of common loyalty and devotion. Let's treat them that way.
Jay Leno says a widow tried to sell him a Ferrari for $350,000, so he helped her turn it into $3,750,000 instead.
“I get enough free stuff like that, that’s right, that’s very nice. You don’t need to start screwing people over.”
“I said, ‘If I can get you close to 4 million for that car, will you bake me some cookies?’ And she said, ‘Why? It’s not worth that much.’ I go, ‘It’s worth that much.’”
“I don’t like it when I hear people tell me a story how they screwed some old guy out of a car. I hate those kind of stories. I like these kind of stories.”
Danielle Smith "What I would say is you have to, if you have to be very careful not to put things on the table that you're not prepared to do."
"And I'm going to try to prevent Canada from making a very dumb decision of putting energy on the table because line five goes through Michigan."
"So I would just say that it may sound tough to say those kind of things, but if you cannot do it practically and you're not prepared to live with the consequences of doing it, don't threaten it."
"But I would say it's far more constructive to go into negotiations saying, hey, we want a deal, we want to maintain this really strong trade relationship and let's see if we can both get a win out of it. That's, that's my approach, and I think that's the Prime Minister's approach." @ABDanielleSmith (video didn't load with previous post)
Pure Nenshi NDP cowardice. It’s starts with apologizing for merely being seen talking with the ambassador of the Jewish state…and we all know where the slippery slope goes from there.
We can all debate the conflict between Israel, Hezbollah, Hamas, Iran, Gaza etc., but anyone wanting to lead this Province needs to be able to meet and hear out the real concerns of our various community leaders and national representatives without marginalizing them as unworthy to be in your presence.
Nenshi is simply unfit to lead. And it’s becoming more glaring each and every day.
Eastern Canadian refineries should be powered by Western Canadian energy - not from overseas. 🇨🇦
Premier Doug Ford and I are advancing a new West-East pipeline called the Northern Shield Energy Corridor connecting Alberta oil to Ontario refineries, and eventually, European markets.
This nation building project would initially move 500,000 to 800,000 barrels per day, create tens of thousands of jobs, strengthen our economy, and help Canada receive full value for our world class resources.
Alberta has the energy Canada that the world needs. Now it’s time to build the infrastructure to deliver it.
🔴 BREAKING: I am joined by Ontario Premier Doug Ford to make a major announcement about how we can get even more Alberta energy to market. https://t.co/Vpbk2rDjDu
Want a stronger Canadian dollar?
Double oil sands production. Expand West Coast energy exports. Bring more USD into Canada.
We could’ve done this 10 years ago!
Better late than never.
Canada has everything it needs to become an energy superpower.
Today, Alberta’s government submitted our West Coast Oil Pipeline application, along with new industry partners, to the federal Major Projects Office for Project of National Interest designation.
This nation-building project would connect more than one million barrels of Canadian oil per day to world markets, create tens of thousands of jobs and strengthen Canada's economy for generations.

I’m all for folks pointing out the potential risks of Alberta separating. That’s a healthy part of the debate.
But this whole “the separation debate is killing investment” argument is complete BS. Every economic indicator says the exact opposite. Every. Single. One.
Muzzling important discussions is foolish. Have a free and open debate and trust Albertans to make the right decision.
Wow! What an incredible performance from Edmonton's Acro Crew! Congratulations on your Golden Buzzer! Alberta is cheering you on every step of the way. 👏🐕
