We truly appreciate your transparency and patience.

That said, there’s still one important question the community is hoping to get clarity on before the TGE :
👉 What will be the gap between the minimum and maximum airdrop amounts?

We believe that a fair distribution model which rewards a wide base of users is far more sustainable than disproportionately rewarding a small group.

Unfortunately, some ZK rollups have failed on this front —
But we believe Linea can be the one that changes the narrative.

Here are some examples:

• Arbitrum ( $ARB ): Min : 625 – Max : 10,250 ARB → 16.4x → ✅ Positive
• Optimism ( $OP ): Min : 550 – Max : 10,000 OP → 18x → ✅ Positive
• zkSync ( $ZK ): Min : 450 – Max : 100,000+ ZK → 222x → ❌ Excessively Negative
• Starknet ( $STRK ): Min : 110 – Max : 180,000+ STRK → 1600x → ❌ Extremely Negative

The Linea team mentioned that the airdrop will be LXP-based but also tied to onchain activity.

It’s important to note that users already demonstrated strong onchain participation while earning LXP, including:
🔹 NFT minting
🔹 Swaps
🔹 Bridges
🔹 Liquidity provision
🔹 Contract deployments

And all of this happened before blobs, when gas costs were high.
(👀 Some users even paid $10+ per task!)

So the community’s expectations are clear:

➡️ Whatever the LXP threshold is,
➡️ Early & active users deserve a fair multiplier,
➡️ Real contributions have already been made — both via LXP and onchain actions.

This approach would ensure fairness and help secure $LINEA ’s long-term success.

ARB and OP are now remembered as fair, community-first airdrops.
ZK-based projects, on the other hand, favored small groups and damaged trust.

Good examples are remembered.
Bad actors fade over time.
