गोपाल राय इस पूरे आंदोलन के सूत्रधार हैं। सारा लॉजिस्टिक्स, योजना देख रहे हैं। संभावना है कि आने वाले दिनों में यह आंदोलन रामलीला मैदान तक पहुँचेगा। उन्हें रामलीला मैदान का अनुभव भी है, वो इसे लम्बा खींच भी लेंगे।

@BJP4India इनका कुछ न बिगाड़ पाई है, न बिगाड़ पाती दिखती है। ये न तो पंजाब में प्रदर्शनकारियों की पिटाई पर कुछ नैरेटिव बना पा रहे हैं, न केरल पर। न ये यह बता पा रहे हैं कि गहलोत और राहुल गाँधी किस मुँह से पेपर लीक पर बोल रहा है?

@narendramodi जी का व्यक्तिगत सम्मान/अहंकार/अकड़ वामपंथियों को अवसर दे रहा है कि वो इस बार शाहीन बाग और किसान आंदोलन के हायब्रिड मॉडल ला कर पूरे देश में ऐसे कॉकरोच पार्क बनवा देंगे। इसमें लोग मरेंगे, यह तय है।

बीच सत्र में मंत्री तो नहीं हटेगा, पर अब कॉन्ग्रेस अड़ गई है कि बिना उसके हम संसद में चर्चा नहीं होने देंगे। जब इनके अपने समर्थकों ने इनसे जनवरी से यही बात कही, तो ये चिढ़ा रहे थे कि गुजरात निकाय चुनाव जीत गए, बंगाल में 208 आ गया।

19 जुलाई तक मुझे विश्वास था कि इसे सरकार नियंत्रित कर लेगी, पर सरकार की नपुंसकता ने पुलिस को लाल किला वाली पिटाई याद दिला दी। हर तरफ पुलिस पर हो रही बर्बरता के चिह्न दिख रहे हैं।

Over the past many years, I have taken a personal stand in support of the NEET examination, arguing that it brought uniformity in student selection across the country and gave students from underprivileged backgrounds a real shot at pursuing their dream of medical education. In the last 5 years, the NEET UG question paper has leaked thrice. Imagine the amount of pressure that it puts on students, who had to go through the examination process yet another time when the system that was supposed to bring in uniformity was failing. Yet there was no accountability, and I believe strongly that it was that moment that brought in a shift in the minds of the students to take to the streets to cry their hearts out.

Protest is a fundamental right in a Democracy. The pertinent question, however, is this: why did the BJP-led Central Government take so long to initiate a dialogue with the protestors? Why was meaningful engagement delayed until the protest had escalated to a flashpoint? What kept you waiting?

The students and the people who are leading them also have a responsibility here. It is natural that when a protest stays on for weeks, people with vested interests will take the stage to air views that are either completely irrelevant to the initial demands of the protests or would try to completely hijack it to serve their agenda. If you remain silent and let these people with vested interests further their agenda, then you are deviating from your core objectives. Please do not let it happen!

I urge the BJP-led Central Government to engage in meaningful dialogue, uphold transparency, and take swift, appropriate action to address the concerns at hand. The strength of any nation lies in the confidence its youth place in its institutions. If our students lose faith in the fairness and credibility of our education system, we are jeopardising the future of our nation.

Dharmendra Pradhan should have been fired. I agree. He wasn’t. The next step for all those hurt by this audacity should have been to hold a grudge and take it out in the next elections.

Can't wait that long? Okay, protest. Peaceful protest is your right. Soliciting support from the masses? Fair game. A political party pulling the strings behind the curtain and paying celebrities to influence the masses to support your demands? Debatable, but still ok.

BUT, using this support to manipulate the masses, hoping to topple a democratically elected govt because that's the only way you can come to power? Lol, no way. To hell with democracy under threat, liberty under threat. Nothing is under threat. Such wet dreams should not be tolerated.

Any such attempts should be immediately and effectively handled with an aggressive police crackdown. An example must be set. It's been a long time coming.

One of the doctors assaulted by Shiv Sena corporator Ramesh Mhatre inside a KDMC-run hospital in Maharashtra's Thane has resigned and left the city, saying he fears for his life after the attack.

"I have resigned because there is a lot of fear... I have already left the city. They are very dangerous people. I will not go back there again," the doctor said.

The resignation comes days after a viral video showed doctors and hospital staff allegedly being assaulted inside Kalyan's Shastri Nagar Hospital, sparking outrage among the medical community and protests by healthcare workers. The attack reportedly took place after doctors advised a newborn's family to shift the baby to another hospital due to a shortage of NICU beds

A Mumbai govt hospital advised a pregnant woman's family to consider transferring her elsewhere, as pre-delivery fetal assessment indicates her newborn will likely require NICU care, and all of their NICU beds are currently occupied.

The woman's husband called Shiv Sena (Shinde) corporator Ramesh Mhatre, who arrived with his goons and assaulted doctors and nurses.

If you understand how hospitals work, you'll know a bed not being available is not the doctor's fault. You can't ask another critical newborn to vacate a bed, nor can you provide NICU care on the floor, nor can you "arrange bed from some other dept" because a NICU bed isn't just a bed, it comes with ventilators, monitors, oxygen, infusion pumps, and other life-support equipment.

So the blame, if any, goes on the govt. But doctors are the easiest targets, and assaulting them earns politicians easy political mileage.

I know some will say, "Doctors are evil and deserve it," and that's fine. I'm not seeking sympathy. This post is for parents and medical aspirants. Unless your parents own a hospital, you choose govt jobs with better working conditions like the Army, paramilitary, or Railways, plan to pursue USMLE (or an equivalent pathway), or intend to move to private practice where you can arrange your own security, think carefully before choosing this profession.

Most govt hospitals are hellholes. You can serve patients well for decades and still end up being abused or assaulted by a tenth-pass corporator, a publicity-hungry politician chasing cameras, or patient relatives who think every death could have been prevented if only the doctor had "tried harder."

Reality of so many #falserape POCSO cases in India today

Lives of so many men are being destroyed due to false accusations but there's ZERO RECOURSE OR RELIEF to them when they declare their innocence

Who will return 5 years of this boy's life? He was thrown out from the school when this case happened. He has a tag of gangrapist, who will wash that away?

What about punishment to police officers who DID NOT DO THEIR DUTY & instead tried to extort the family themselves?

How can it be so easy to ruin a life with the help of the laws?
