We appreciate your support of our preschools, other services and local community, Sophie!

[Koorana @Koorana]

A big thank you to Sophie Cotsis MP and her team who visited our Preschool in Roselands today. We had a wonderful time showing Sophie our new sustainable garden and play area and introducing her to the children and educators. @Sophiecotsis1

[Koorana @Koorana]

We also enjoyed telling Sophie about our integrated classrooms and the allied health staff we are using in the preschool to enable inclusive practice. Koorana is proud that 25% of the placements in our preschools are reserved for children with additional needs.

[Koorana @Koorana]

The changes that COVID-19 brought on society and service delivery allowed us to provide playgroups solely online! We launched Zoom Live Playgroups and our interactive Playgroups Facebook Group!

[Koorana @Koorana]

In the past, weather changes affected our Playgroups delivery and led to cancellations throughout the year. However, now that we offer both Face-to-face and Online Playgroups, that means that you can access playgroups all year round with no interruptions!

This week in our Hearts of Koorana rubrique we will feature our Board President - Rodney. Rodney works together with our CEO and the Board of Directors in setting the future direction for Koorana and ensure that it has the governance and financial sustainability.

[Koorana @Koorana]

In his free time, he likes to explore the outdoors by bushwalking and kayaking. He enjoys seeing the different communities from different cultural backgrounds enjoying Sydney's great outdoors. His favourite colour is blue!

[Koorana @Koorana]

"It is particularly rewarding when I get a chance to visit one of our programs, be that in preschool or a playgroup and seeing the young children from all different backgrounds playing together and creating stuff." - Rodney says.

[Koorana @Koorana]

Rodney loves hearing the stories of the positive outcomes and the differences that the team has made to the lives of children and their families.

[Koorana @Koorana]

She loves creating fun dinner parties for her family and friends.
Helen also likes watching TV Shows: at the moment she loves watching Queens Gambit. Her favourite emoji is 🥰 and her favourite colour is pink!
