The Director of Food Security in the Office of the President of Sierra Leone, Dr Patrick Kormawa, paid me a courtesy visit in my office in Abuja today. We held a focused discussion on the experiences of the @AfDB_Group in financing agriculture and how such models can be adapted to boost Sierra Leone’s agricultural transformation.
I met today with Dr. Abdul Kamara, DG @AfDB_Group Nigeria to learn about the Bank’s models of financing and how they can be adapted to boost rollout of Feed Salone. The Bank is supporting large scale agricultural processing zones, institutional capacity building and innovation.

spent last week on field mission to faming communities in the company of the Hon Minister Agriculture and Food Security, the Chairman, PI-CREF marking the start of the 2024 farming season.
