A gun crew of Guards Sergeant Viktor Evgrafovich Derevyazhenko (born 1921), commander of the 124th Guards Artillery Regiment of the 52nd Guards Rifle Division, awarded the Order of the Red Star and the "For Courage" and "For the Defense of Stalingrad" medals, fires at a German transport during the Battle of Szczecin Bay. The gun is fired from a 76.2mm ZIS-3 model 1942 divisional gun. 1st Belorussian Front.

Photographic verification of the results of a bombing attack on the railway junction of Fischhausen (now Primorsk, Kaliningrad Oblast). The attack was carried out on April 16, 1945, by a group of Pe-2 aircraft from the 6th Guards Bomber Aviation Division.
From the combat diary of the 6th Guards Bomber Division: “On April 16… the division, carrying out its assigned tasks, carried out concentrated bombing strikes:
— At 11.12-11.17 in two groups consisting of: 1st 19 Pe-2 squadrons, lead Guards Major Bobrov, navigator Guards Senior Lieutenant Kovalenko, 2nd 21 Pe-2 squadron, lead Guards Major Paliy, navigator Guards Major Sinitsa, under cover of 22 Yak-9s of the 130th IAD, 5 Pe-2s in a dive, dive entry H 3200, exit H 1500 meters, the rest in level flight, H 2600-32000 BC 316-320° at the strongpoint of Ave. Fischhausen.
The execution of this mission was supervised by the division commander, Guards Colonel Chuguev, who directly participated in the flight."
