Group the #drums and send them to a bus with a mild #compression setting and/or a #tapesaturation . Adjust the channels to find your taste.
Depending on the genre, you might want more #saturation on different drum components.

#Dithering is low-level noise added to audio to hide errors when reducing bit-depth, and by definition it’s about 90dB below the music when reducing a #24bit mix to #16bit.

The last thing you want when mixing is CPU overload, so to fix this you can bounce or freeze all of your parts that use plugins, and then keep working. With some software, this may also lead to better signal quality.
