Apple is creating more hype for XR headsets than Meta could do itself.
For buyers who do not have $3500 to spare or are not (willing to be) locked into Apple's ecosystem, Meta offers a cheap alternative to try XR out.

@levelsio I agree that amongst Thai people there is more likely to be income equality.
But I'm sure that the Gini coefficient doesn't take into account the tourists and remote workers that earn their money in higher-paid countries. Compared to these foreigners, inequality is pretty high.
- Many places that are cash-only
- All traffic lights are dumb (don't take traffic into account)
It really feels like they rapidly advanced in the 90s and 00s, and then just stopped developing ๐คจ
Japan is not as technologically advanced as I thought it would be:
- Many cafรฉs without WiFi
- Unreliable and slow 4G network
- Very limited 5G coverage
- Unresponsive, non-working websites that look like they come from the early 2000s
