According to the article, Tencent's engineer's average salary is $130,000(1600万円).
Way much better compared to Japanese company.
I recommend going to China instead of Japan.
You might work like 996(from 9am till 9pm for 6 days a week) though.

- Yes you can. But you need to spend decent amount of time for coding/learning like 10,000 hours. Since no qualification is needed to be an engineer, the only thing you need to do is learning.

Is education background important in Japan for engineering position?

- For the first job, it would be better to have it to proceed the interview. However from second jobs, your job history is more important. How much you can code and understands is priority.

- Nope. Most of employees will not be fired because of strict labor law. Which might sounds good to you. However, on the other hand, this also means that those who are not working will remain in that position.

- Who decides your salary? The market, not your boss or manager. Always put yourself on the job change market and see how your price tag changes. And always don’t forget to keep learning new things.

Should I use a recruiter when changing jobs?

- Honestly no. Most of the recruiters does not have experiences as an engineer. So they don’t understands the details of the roles.
But if you are a junior developer and can’t find a job by yourself, then it could be one option.

- Unfortunatelly no. Since tax system to crypto industry is really disadvantageous for companies. Some start ups moved their HQ to other countries like SG.

- Yes, you can.
However you need to get a working visa.
If you already have an experience working for Japanese company, getting a visa is much easier.

Is it easy to open a bank account in Japan?

- Yucho bank is easiest way, you can open immediately. For other major banks, you need to wait half year after get a visa to open a bank account.
