pretty disappointing direct, no mario or zelda other than a remake and no gameplay for duskbloods so the only thing i found interesting was the fire emblem reveals

felt like i got pretty unlucky between losing most of my dice rolls, getting paired against my 1 bad matchup twice and generally drawing worse than my opponents

also just really tired of the aggro meta, if set 5 doesn't fix things then i might need to take a break from the game

went 3-3 at my first gundam regional yesterday playing victory norn but there was only 71 players so i still got the top 32 prize card for finishing 27th plus i also pulled the liu mei ex resource that i really wanted

if i chained widow anchor to walbaz they could've chained super poly to dodge so it's important to go cl2 tribute zero to prevent them from dodging the cl3 window anchor

blue white has the highest conversion rate by far, going from 6.2% of participants to 25% of top 16 with 3 of those 4 in the top 6

nornless victory blockers in particular is a deck that only 6/417 people brought and it took both 4th and 5th place 👀

there's still some comboslop in the format but it's so much better than last year, it's so nice that there's an actual back and forth when i lose the coinflip vs the best deck

on a more positive note i also started watching war in the pocket and it's extremely good so far, could join my masterpiece list alongside zeta and 00

only having 6 episodes will probably make the pay off feel less significant though

watched cca a few days ago and was very disappointed, it's entertaining and the story would be good if it was a non-canon "what if" kind of thing but as the canon climax to amuro and char's storyline it felt pretty bad

char's motivation might’ve made sense if it was after 0079 or the novel version of zeta but as a sequel to the anime version of zeta and especially to zz it doesn't make sense imo, how could char have lost hope after zz ends on such a hopeful note
