When Lagos island rent and flooding gets out of hand, the rich will move to Ikeja, Surulere and Ogudu.
The struggling occupants of Ogudu, Surulere and Ikeja will be pushed to Ikotun.
Those in Ikotun will move to Sagamu.
Sagamu folks will move to Ikire.
"In a world where everyone with a smartphone can claim to be a journalist, the standards of professionalism, accuracy, and integrity must never be compromised, freedom of expression is not freedom to defame."

How did the disputed agency get into the Appropriation Act?
I mean how do you get approval for staffing, open account with CBN and also have public representation? In our quiet corners, we all know this does not add up.

Ekiti state has 2,796 schools, 2,222 have reported their data. A reporting rate of 79.5%.
They are the second best in southwest after Lagos, on reporting school data.
On National Security, the buck stops on the President’s table, until lives and properties are considered safe and people can go about their daily lives without fear of domestic and external terrorism, we can’t say the President has done his best.
Yes, we should pray but the responsibility for our collective security as a nation is not God’s, it is government. The Bible makes it clear that the government bears the sword to protect its citizens.
Thank Kalu for this important contribution.
However permit me to state [restate] that @followlasg deserves credit for how far it has come.
Managing the waste of a city that has grown into one of Africa's largest commercial hubs is a challenge that has evolved with its population, economy and pace of urbanisation. It cannot remain an activity subject to political devices.
The systems that served yesterday have laid an important foundation. But every successful city reaches a point where yesterday's solutions are no longer enough for today's realities, tomorrow's aspirations, and indeed the future plans of an industrialised city.
That said, and to your point, If Lagos truly seeks to become a leading global mega city, waste management must evolve from a disposal service into a circular economy. Waste should be treated as a resource for recycling, energy generation, manufacturing and jobs.
This also calls for a WoG approach where waste mgt should no longer be the responsibility of one agency alone. It should be embedded in planning approvals for new estates, roads, commercial developments and public infrastructure, with clear provisions for collection, sorting, recycling and recovery built in from the design stage.
LASG should remain the regulator and standard setter, while creating room for capable private entrepreneurs, technology providers and global partners to compete, innovate and invest. Public policy should reward efficiency, environmental outcomes and value creation, not simply waste collection.
A mega city is not measured only by the size of its skyline, but by how intelligently it manages what it throws away.

There is corn in one's pocket, and then there is acting like they gave you the entire corn farm. The actual foolishness of defending political office holders when they are very guilty of incompetence that is detrimental to public health and safety.
There are discussions to unlook, when your guy is very guilty, just unlook the conversation instead of talking and coming across as unwise.
The way some of you reacted, you’d think the First Lady said every Nigerian youth should abandon their careers and go sell akara.
Yet many of the same people dragging her would be the first to drop their account numbers under a giveaway post for ₦20k.
The money you call “small” can be life-changing capital to someone trying to start a business and feed their family.
I’m genuinely surprised that everyone on the internet is suddenly a millionaire. Let’s face reality once in a while.
She was talking about grants and small businesses, not forcing graduates into a particular profession. Is it really that hard to understand the point, or are some of you deliberately twisting her words to fit a narrative?
Criticize government policies where necessary, but let’s not pretend honest entrepreneurship is beneath anyone.
It would be nice if everyone approached things this way. It’s how I expect thoughtful, intellectually honest people to engage.
When the government gets it wrong, criticize them. Bash them. Hold them accountable.
When they get something right, acknowledge it. Applaud it. Don't dismiss it.
But on X, recognizing even the slightest positive is treated as an endorsement of the government and is often met with insults. It's bizarre.
If your hatred for a government makes you incapable of acknowledging anything positive it does, then that reeks of subpar intellectualism and poor sense of judgment.
So who are the officers of the Lagos Task Force who took him away on Oct 24, 2020? Who is holding them accountable for murder?
More importantly, what is it with the delays by LASUTH? What is all this stalling supposed to achieve?
Poor baby. His life hadn't even begun. Shame.
Again, nobody is doing State police before 2027 election.
. NASS passes the constitutional Amendment
. SHOA Passes it
. President Signs it
.SHOA passes a State law establishing State police in the various states
. Recruitment, training, facilities etc.
These are the steps.
For someone who has been watching this show for the past one year, I know quite well the different views that this crew holds.
UgoDre - has always objectively criticized the current government for excessive borrowing and also says the government and investors are benefiting from the government's policies and not the consumer. He also encourages consumer credit and is passionate on how we can fix power
Tunji - does not support the current government and he's a big fan of Trump. He shares the view that people are not paying attention to small businesses and we should encourage them. He is a Dangote fan as well.
Dele - He is a market guy and usually scrutinize government policies and how it affects the market and average Nigerians
Arnold - He loves gold. He is not a fan of excessive government spending and doesn't like the fact that we're always borrowing.
But you, who hasn't watched a single episode of this shoe but just a 2 minute clip is Quick to throw insults
This show isn't even a political show. But an economic one.
Seek knowledge.
The real Olodo Uprising?
It's opposition politicians excusing their incompetence in organizing themselves with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu supernatural powers of infiltration.
And large part of the population believing them.

Pastor, that boy calls you papa. Do not exploit his strength or his money.
