@lndsullivan@MISTERBULLBULL Thank you. I'm really honored to have it in BULL. I've wanted to place something there for a while now. So grateful you gave it a read.
My short story THE TELLERS went live today in The Lindenwood Review! Read it, enjoy it, share it, and you too can wonder what it might look like if your father hit your mother with a car.

I'd like to thank @AmandaKusek for introducing me to THE THING. Loved watching it and getting to goof off talking about it for the newsletter. Would love to know what anyone else thinks!

Just got my second short story acceptance in a month. It's really amazing how much easier it is to get your work published when you ACTUALLY SEND IT OUT.

The Substance was great. Here's the Chickenshit Newsletter for anyone who needs a little kick to get them to watch it.
Also, an important PDA: DON'T CLONE A CLONE.

This week's Chickenshit Newsletter is on IT FOLLOWS and it's alllllll about sex cuz I hear that sells.
It's not...sexy...I mean...at all.
But still.

A fitting film as we lead up to Halloween. Honestly, this is the kind of movie that still keeps me up at night. Just the willies everywhere. Chickenshits, beware.

I've had so many "almost there" moments in my writing career. Good rejections, a temporary agent, a read by Harper Collins, good reviews. The hardest part of being a writer isn’t the rejection. It’s holding the faith between flashes of proof.
I'm late to the party, but I started a Substack geared towards the "horror-curious" who still lose sleep after a good scary move. If you're interested but can't watch without becoming an insomniac, I've got something you might want to check out.

The first Chickenshit newsletter, hopefully of many. I still lose sleep over movies like this, but, surprisingly, I found The Exorcist to be kind of sweet.
Wife says I make laundry complicated but it's simple:
1. Wash
2. Dry
3. Put on trampoline
4. Use sheet to carry up three flights of stairs like Santa
5. Leave clothes in pile
6. Sift through clothes daily like they fell out of the world's worst pinata
7. Repeat...monthly

@hallie_christen I hate that this book hasn't gotten picked up yet. If ever you needed a beta reader, I'm kind of dying to read it. If not, the time will come for you and I look forward to picking it up then. Keep it up. It's gonna happen.
