Sometimes the point of the trip is to eat something good, stare at a body of water, and remember who tf you are.
You don't always have to have a jam-packed itinerary!
the older you get the more you realize how dangerous it is to know this much about the lives of strangers.
i often can’t believe how many ppl are just constantly plugged into para social drama where they spend their time effectively absorbing relationships, tragedies, opinions, fights, successes, illnesses, & anxieties of thousands of ppl that they will never meet like influencers. not only that but they’re taking advice from & formulating opinions through these ppl. this is nuts.
i don’t follow any influencers & very few ppl in my life that are close to me know any sort of intimate details. & i resist knowing things about ppl i don’t know. i suspect that’s the way it should be.
@AllisonPearson I’d happily opt out of residential care. Should I reach that stage just sit me in a corner and let nature take its course rather than prolonging the misery for a year or two. Don’t expect everyone to agree - personal choice.
Instagram algorithm: here's stuff you like
Twitter algorithm: here's stuff that makes you mad
Facebook algorithm: you will now be dropped headfirst into a bizarre public feud involving a small business in a town you've never been to and several socially maladapted strangers
Labour MP hits back at Rayner: "Any serious politician would be addressing why we’re dependent on thousands of people from the global south to work in the care system while we have a million 18-24 year olds out of work, training or education"

days are a scam.
no animal in nature has a weekly calendar. they dont know what monday is or have a weekend. they hunt when they want to. eat when they want to. sleep when they want to.
they live according to the sun and moon.
The carnivore diet used to be one instruction. Here is a carnivore morning as it's currently taught on Instagram:
6:00 sunlight straight into the eyes
6:05 barefoot on the lawn, grounding
6:10 electrolyte stick in warm water
6:15 cold plunge
6:30 red light panel, front and back
6:45 six organ capsules
7:00 check the glucose monitor
7:05 check the ketone meter
7:10 bone broth, sipped mindfully
7:30 journal about seed oils
8:00 post the routine
12:00 first meal, photographed on a wooden board
The original version:
Woke up. Wasn't hungry. Did something useful until I was. Ate a steak.
Every step in the new routine has a product attached, and every product has a code.
The ancestors didn't have a morning routine. They had a morning.
I am pretty worried about the scale of the charity sector. It’s INSANE. I just looked at one charity’s accounts for one year, and could have got several articles out of it but there are over 170,000 charities in England and Wales to go through. What party is ever going to be able to deal with this? Never mind all the other shite going on.
