William Saletan says, "genetic engineering is too big for ethics" I disagree with that. I believe that there will always be an ethical line that humans should not cross. It is up to society to decided where it is, but it will always be there.

Which begs the question "Will the bias ever disappear?" How do you get rid of bias in a world where gender, religion, and many other groups carry stereotypical expectations?

The thought of computer models having bias is initially strange. Bias is something that seems so inherently human yet exists in technology that runs on logic. This bias is inherited from humans through programming.

I was intrigued by the idea that in a simulated world anything that is not seen by a member of that simulation may not be rendered. If we are in a simulation, this could explain that feeling people get when walking alone in a quiet or dark area.
