Madam Secretary, fertilizer prices are still high for farmers. When compared to corn prices:

Urea - 2nd highest value ever
UAN - 2nd highest value ever
NH3 - 2nd highest value ever
DAP - 2nd highest value ever

There are simple short and long term fixes. Just takes action.

Nitrogen
Short-term - remove DEF requirements (puts nitrogen back to the farmer)
Long-term - back domestic production

Phosphate
Short-term - repeal counter vailing duties
Long-term - invest in countries with phosphate rock reserves and get long term supply agreements

Potash
Short-term - quit fighting Canada
Long-term - quit fighting Canada

Everything makes sense when you consider the following seven immutable truths:

1. A large majority of native-born Americans strongly oppose Democrat policies.

2. The only way Democrats can win national elections is to import new voters, both legal and illegal.

3. The way to ensure that the newly-imported voters vote Democrat is to give them free stuff, whether via fraud or legal wealth redistribution, or both.

4. Trump’s efforts to deport illegals are therefore an existential threat to the Democrat Party and its policies.

5. Because of the foregoing, it is imperative to Democrats that they shut down ICE operations.

6. A key factor in the attempt to shut down ICE operations is to create martyrs.

7. Dead SUV Karen is a martyr. Deep down they are glad she is dead, because they NEED her to be dead.

Minnesota National Guard Leaders Expose Tim Walz for Stolen Valor, Lying About His Rank, and Quitting When His Unit Was Deployed to Iraq.

"As soon as the shots were fired in Iraq, he turned and ran the other way and hung his hat up and quit," said Tom Behrends, a retired command sergeant major who replaced Gov. Tim Walz on a deployment to Iraq.

When he was a congressman, you know, he bragged that he was a retired command sergeant major: "I'm the highest-ranking person ever in the House," and, you know, all this lie that he was telling the state of Minnesota came out after 2018. After this was exposed, they said, "Well, he can say that he served as a command sergeant major, but he can't say he's a retired one because he's not."

Just tooting his own horn, hanging on the coattails of people that actually are command sergeant majors, who went through all the process and put all the time in.

It's stolen valor, really, what it is.

If he went to Iraq, he'd still be hiding under his desk over there, 'cause that's just the cowardice that I saw portrayed with him.
