It was fantastic to welcome our new patron, the High Sheriff of Cornwall, Harriet Hills.
She joined trustees for a meeting at Bodmin Police Station to learn more about our charity and the support we give to officers, staff and volunteers.

It was great for our trustees to meet our new patron today, the new High Sheriff of Cornwall, Geraint Richards @HSofCornwall , on his first day in office
He joined us for a trustees meeting, and heard how we sent a hamper of luxury goods to our 274th recipient of support today

Officers often work at incidents for hours,sometimes in remote areas,at night and in all weathers.
We hope the contents of the welfare boxes will cheer them up!
Such sad news from @NYorksPolice as they announce the death of PC Rosie Prior, who was killed in a road collision yesterday.
Our thoughts are with her family, loved ones and colleagues.
