As the resilient people of Balochistan, we stand with heavy hearts and unwavering solidarity beside you during this sacred time of Hanukkah he Festival of Lights. Hanukkah is a beacon of hope, a celebration of miracles, resilience, and the triumph of light over darkness. It reminds us of the Maccabees' unyielding spirit against oppression, a story that echoes deeply in our own struggles for freedom, dignity, and justice in Balochistan.

In a solemn and powerful gesture of shared mourning and unbreakable unity, the Republic of Balochistan has lowered its national flag to half-mast in solidarity with the Jewish community in Australia and the State of Israel. This act reflects our profound respect for the lives lost and our collective refusal to bow before terror, hatred, or fear. Three peoples, bound by conscience and humanity, stand together in grief, resilience, and the shared pursuit of peace and justice.

We mourn the precious souls lost in the horrific attack on your community in Sydney a senseless act of terror that targeted innocent lives gathered in joy and unity. Such violence is an assault not only on a community, but on the values of coexistence, faith, and human dignity. Reports of the attacker’s ties to Pakistan deepen our sorrow, for the people of Balochistan have long endured the same machinery of extremism, repression, and state-sponsored terror of Pakistan.

The creation of Pakistan in 1947 has cast a long shadow over regional and global peace from the invasion of Kashmir in 1947 that same year to the forcible annexation of Balochistan in 1948. Decades of international inaction have allowed Pakistan to harbor Osama bin Laden, nurture Al-Qaeda sleeper cells, and provide space to ISIS, Daesh, Lashkar-e-Taiba, Jaish-e-Mohammed, The terror factory of Pakistan, and other violent networks supervised by the ISI that openly incite hatred against Israel, India, America, and the Baloch people.

How many more lives must be lost like those taken on 9/11, in the 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Pahalgam, and now Sydney before the world acts with moral clarity and resolve? These chants of hatred are not empty slogans; they are warnings written in blood, demanding accountability and decisive action.

To our Jewish friends across the world, and to the people of Australia: you are not alone. The people of Balochistan stand with you in grief and in courage. Just as the Hanukkah oil burned beyond all expectation, may your strength and unity illuminate the path toward healing, justice, and lasting peace. We believe that truth will outshine terror, and that solidarity among free peoples is stronger than any ideology of hate.

The time has come for the global community to take firm, principled action against state-sponsored terrorism of Pakistan and to uphold the right of all peoples to live in safety and freedom.
