चीनी के दाम बढ़ रहे हैं, भंडार घट रहा है और करीब 10 साल बाद देश को 10 लाख टन चीनी ZERO DUTY पर आयात करने की जरूरत पड़ सकती है।

जब देश में चीनी की उपलब्धता पर दबाव बढ़ रहा था, तब सरकार ने समय रहते हालात संभालने के बजाय चीनी का निर्यात किया और गन्ने का बड़ा हिस्सा एथनॉल उत्पादन की ओर मोड़ दिया।

आज नतीजा सामने है। चीनी के दाम बढ़ रहे हैं, भंडार घट रहा है और करीब 10 साल बाद देश को 10 लाख टन चीनी ZERO DUTY पर आयात करने की जरूरत पड़ सकती है।

सरकार ने एथनॉल के नाम पर विदेशी मुद्रा बचाने के बड़े-बड़े दावे किए, लेकिन अब अपनी जरूरत पूरी करने के लिए विदेशी चीनी का सहारा लेने की नौबत आ रही है।

यह केवल चीनी की कमी का मामला नहीं है, बल्कि भाजपा सरकार की गलत नीतियों और कमजोर प्रबंधन का नतीजा है।

इसकी कीमत एक बार फिर आम आदमी और मध्यम वर्ग अपनी जेब से चुका रहा है। महंगी चीनी घर का बजट बिगाड़ रही है और बढ़ते एथनॉल मिश्रण को लेकर पुराने वाहनों के माइलेज व अनुकूलता की चिंताएं अलग हैं।

As part of the #SangathanSrijan Abhiyan, along with Haryana Pradesh Congress Committee President Shri @raonarenderinc, I held detailed Assembly-wise interactions with Congress leaders, elected representatives, office-bearers and dedicated workers of Fatehabad, Ratia and Tohana constituencies.

We also held detailed discussions with the Executive Committee of the Fatehabad District Congress Committee on organisational strengthening, progress of SIR work, public outreach, formation of Mandal Committees, the status of Booth Committees, and the political and social realities on the ground.

The discussions also focused on rising prices, unemployment, the problems confronting farmers, the future of our youth and the anti-people policies of the BJP Government, and on further strengthening Congress’ struggle on these issues.

Our resolve is clear — to build a stronger and more active organisation up to the booth level, empower every worker and take the people’s issues and Congress’ struggle to every village and every household.

Strong Organisation. Strong Congress. Stronger Haryana.
