I’ve the Airsewa grievance number where they assured that there will be seat belts for every infant onboard. Now, after 2 years I can confirm that is not the case with 2 infants on the flight.

I complained about similar incident involving my family through Air Suvidha a couple of years back. They called me saying that it will never repeat. Looks like safety is a joke for you guys.

@IndiGo6E @DGCAIndia @MoCA_GoI Cabin crew heard my concerns and asked me to submit feedback and continue the journey. As the plane was on the runway and ready to takeoff, I couldn’t request to exit. Our family ended our trip with a lot of stress and anxiety due to this issue.

@DGCAIndia @MoCA_GoI @IndiGo6E isn’t this a safety violation and risk to safety of infants during flight journey? Are infants without seatbelts deemed to be safe by you onboard Indigo flights if they go through a similar incident happened to SQ321 on 21/05/2024? #AirSewa

@IndiGo6E @DGCAIndia @MoCA_GoI Cabin crew also mentioned that as per Indigo’s policy no seat belts are provided for infants and also that the life jacket is handed over for the infant only in case of an emergency.

@IndiGo6E on our return journey today 09/06/2024, we took 6E6319. Waited for the cabin crew to handover the infant seat belt. Requested for it as soon as the aircraft left the gate. Cabin crew informed us that there are no infant seat belts on the aircraft. @DGCAIndia @MoCA_GoI

@IndiGo6E They collected the seat belt and life jacket at the end of the flight. Cabin crew were really helpful and appreciate their work and proactiveness to help the passengers.

@IndiGo6E Travelled with my infant on flight 6E484 on 07/06/2024. Cabin crew handed over the infant seat belt and unopened cover containing life jacket for the duration of the flight before the aircraft left the gate and even offered to fasten the infant seat belt for us.
