DTC founders, honest question. What's hurting your ads the most right now?

1. creatives die too fast
2. CPMs keep climbing
3. can't find a good editor
4. no idea what to test next

Just reply with a number. I'll share what comes up most.

If you run a DTC brand and your ads have gone stale, here's an offer.

Send me your best performing ad. I'll send back 3 new hook variations made with AI video, free.

No call, no deck. If they work, we talk. Reply or DM.

Don't test all 10 at once. Pick 3, keep the same body and CTA, and only swap the opener.

Kill on hook rate. Keep what holds.

I post breakdowns like this most days. Follow if you're running ads for a DTC brand.

These are the top 10 hooks you can use for your DTC ads right now.

Most brands rewrite the whole ad when all they needed was a new first 2 seconds.

Save this. All 10 below.

10. Price anchor
"Costs less per day than the coffee you're holding."
Do the math for them against something they already buy without thinking.

How I'd test AI video ads as a DTC brand spending $50k/mo:

5 angles, not 5 versions of one angle
3 hooks per angle
$50-100 per ad before judging
kill on hook rate, scale on cost per purchase

Most brands test too few angles and too many colors.

Video editing is turning into a conversation.

Gemini Omni lets you generate a clip and then just tell it what to change. "Warmer light." "Swap the background." "Product on the left."

The bottleneck for ad creative isn't editing time anymore. It's knowing what to ask for.

Hot take: AI ads don't flop because they look AI.

They flop because nobody wrote a real script. Pretty visuals, no angle, no reason to care.

A shaky iPhone video with a sharp hook still beats a gorgeous AI one with nothing to say.

Kling 4.0 rolls out fully this month. 30 second clips, up to 10 keyframes.

For DTC this matters more than people think. 30s is a full UGC style ad in one generation, and keyframes mean you can lock the product shot instead of praying it doesn't morph.

Underrated use of Fable 5.1 for ads:

Paste in 200 of your product reviews. Ask it for the exact phrases customers used to describe the problem before they bought.

Don't let it write the ad. Use their words as your hooks. Customers write better copy than most agencies.

cheapest way to get 20 new ads this week:

take your best performing ad
keep the middle and the ending
make 20 new first 3 seconds

new opener shot, new line, new on screen text

AI video made opener shots basically free. the body was never the problem
