I like to work on songs in 2 phases, learning and polish, with a break in between. I finished learning Beriot #4, now I'm going back to put polish on Scene de Ballet, one of my favorites. It has several scenes of music, this speaks to me of the happiness of contentment.

I'm in Peru now and they just elected a new president, Keiko Fujimori. Doing some research I found it interesting that her grandparents emigrated to Peru from Japan.

@yakiimotrader Yes, the violin has many challenges, one being pitch is relative. On the piano, C# is the same note as Db. But on the violin C# is higher and Db is lower.

Our last day in Cusco Peru. Most people have guinea pigs as pets but in Peru they are delicacies eaten for special occasions. I had the chance to dress in Inca style clothes with the scepter of power for the leaders. After exploring more of the city we left on the bus.

@maixyl Hmm 🤔... I'd have to think about it. I'm still in Peru for a few more days. The gavotte from the third partita comes to mind with all the different episodes and coming back to the refrain. But there's so many good ones.
