@manderovic@karavas_alex Just read your piece. Spot on. Not once have the coaches ever made a change that shifted the game. Dawson has taken it upon himself. In the game against Adel Sam Mitchell saw that ruck was a problem after 3 goals in the first quarter. Switched Chol in - game changed. Goodnight
@manderovic@karavas_alex I think stats play a large part. Player loads, fitness capacity, management with a bigger picture in mind holds back coaches from making changes in games. It’s costing us. Nicks & co don’t ever want to deviate from what the computer tells them. Footy is human. Let’s feel it
@bosslevel86 Been saying it for a while but we need a refresh of the boys club coaches/assistants. Too close to the picture and not able to make hard decisions
@PedlarFan Will Day is a gun but too similar to what curtain would offer if in mid. We need pace and physicality. Soligo the closest atm but just hasn’t progressed as well as they would have hoped
@manderovic Too much focus on data, ai and probability. Sure, tech like this has a small place in the game to assist but nothing can replace the human feel for the game. Momentum shifts are felt, computer won’t tell you that. Our coaches have never been able to recognise that and make change
@bazz_27 Players weren’t in it last night but coaches also failed to make changes to try and shift momentum. Everything is ok when things going their way but when it comes to the crunch and teams play physically against us we crumble
@JADelaideX Looked flat all night but once again no plan b. Coaches aren’t doing anything to shift momentum when the games getting away. Same old story
@klioness It’s about law suits. Concussion is/will be a big one. If a player is concussed as a result of a tackle at all, they will get weeks to make it look like the afl did something. Unless you play for Collingwood.. then it’s nothing to see
@flag_crows The only way that this is ok is just to give McAndrew a rest and keep him fresh and injury free. We need him. If he goes down we’re screwed
