This week has been really emotional.
- Last month my dad died (COVID) and we've been dealing with estate stuff. (Ugh!)
- A friend of mine died (not COVID) and that's been rough.
- My sister now has COVID symptoms (despite a negative test).

On the positive side, I voted.

Them: The death rate is so small I don't have to wear a mask.

I can't adult today. On Sept 1st, my dad was hospitalized with COVID. Each day has brought a new complication. Tues they intubated him and put him on a ventilator. Wed his lung collapsed. Today his kidneys are failing. We can't even say goodbye. #helpless

@pt_winger I never considered the 50s to be old, but after babysitting a 4yo and a toddler (20 mo) the last two days, I've changed my mind. Dude, I'm old and I creak. LOL

My 6yo granddaughter kept getting interrupted with her schooling by her 82yo great grandfather (who doesn't really get the distance learning thing).
