In Randolph, about 250 people had voted by absentee ballot and in person at the town hall as of 9:30 this morning. Outside the building is the oldest crab apple tree in Vermont, according to a state Supreme Court case.
In Bethel, residents passed the $2.6 million dollar budget, and voted to fund an expansion of the town skate park and give more money to the library.
There was also pie. "Strawberry rhubarb, coconut cream, cherry, pumpkin. There's a little bit of everything."

I spoke with John Brochu, of Bradford who said he was excited to vote for Priestley, someone he knows personally. “I think she’s going to do great things today for our community."
Met several candidates out and about today! Monique Priestley was greeting voters in Bradford. She's a small business owner running for the VT House. Also saw candidates Rebecca Holcombe and Alison Clarkson in Norwich.
