The thing with the market is …. Survival is key. I have been in the markets since my first finance job as an intern in 2009-2010 as a sales and trading intern at a large British bank. I have been through several bear markets, many crisis, many black Mondays and Black Fridays accross all assets.
The thing with the market is if you survive long enough success will hit you. You can’t always time the market but just being in it and not getting stoped out will eventually result in you getting hit with waves of success. It’s not simple though, you have to work hard and look for narratives but key is staying in the market to even see that. Eventually you will get hit with waves of luck which will amplify your returns.
The people that will always complain and keep running their mouths about markets or about you are almost always the ones who are stuck on the sidelines and are usually the ones that are stuck with their own faults and inability to be able to do anything.
My boss at one of my jobs where I was an inflation trader who taught me everything I know about bond trading who has been trading since Salomon brothers days told me one thing … market is cyclical … it always comes back, the key is to make sure you don’t get stopped out of the market. If you get stopped out then you are done. If you stick around long enough no matter what eventually you will hit. And that is a very true statement. If you stuck around last 3 years you were perfectly positioned to get into Solana meme season, get into many seed rounds, get into several alt coins up 500%+, several gaming farms, token farms. You just needed few hundred dollars to turn it into 6 figures if you were in the market.
And that’s key. This is why you never put yourself in a position where on the downside you get stopped out of the market fully. Whether this is going heavy on leverage and then getting wiped out on a flush and then having to work hard again to build stables to invest again and you miss opportunities because you were out of the market. The key to survival in markets is good risk management which maybe only 2-3% people practice in crypto. Learn to play with less money and focus on higher conviction plays than constantly rotating in and out and burning yourself on transactions fees and opportunity cost. When you find big moves going down heavier and when you see market moving up go in less.
Remember …. The key is the survive. Eventually the success will hit you. If you are getting liquidated on money during a bull market you are doing something very wrong. Bear markets are very challenging to make money in but this is easy market. Anything you buy pumps in time. Don’t burn your funds by fomo. This is something we constantly preach in weekly Wizdom newsletter and why we even have hired psychologists to train our community to be better investors. This is why we outperform. We are survivors at weekly Wizdom.
Survive to win.
BlackRock salesmen today:
Imagine a currency, not controlled by any government, immune to inflation, and as easy to send as an email. That’s Bitcoin.
Bitcoin is not just another stock or bond; it’s a revolution in finance, a complete game-changer.
Now, I know what you’re thinking – ‘Is it safe? Is it a good investment?’ Let me put it this way: Bitcoin has been the best performing asset of the last decade. It’s outpaced gold, stocks, you name it. And the reason is simple: scarcity. There’s only ever going to be 21 million Bitcoins. That’s it. And as demand grows, and believe me, it will, the value? Skyrocketing.
Before you make your decision, there’s something else you need to know – the Bitcoin halving. It’s happening in just 4 months. The new supply will be cut in half and historically, every halving has led to parabolic gains.
People who get in before the halving are positioning themselves for the possibility of massive gains. It’s a pattern we’ve seen time and time again, and now, you have the chance to be ahead of the curve.
Trust me, the only problem you're gonna have is that you didn't buy more.
How many bitcoins can I put you down for?

A data-backed cheat code you’ll wish you knew 10 years ago:
It’s called the Spillover Effect.
If you’re an employee, it should change:
• where you work
• who you work with
• how much you earn across your career
If you’re an employer, it raises the stakes for hiring, and firing…
Kellogg Insight did a study across 58,000 hours in 11 companies.
This is what they found:
Positive Spillover:
If you sit within 25ft of a high performer, your performance increases by 15%.
Translated financially, if you make $100k a year, you start making 115k.
You are no smarter, you work no harder… and you're 15% better.
Plus, highest performers are not impacted by the low performance of their neighbors.
The strong always lift up the weak.
Negative Spillover:
But if you sit near a low performer… Things get bad fast.
How they define “low performer” in the study is important:
These are “toxic workers.”
A “toxic” person = someone who ends up being fired for their behavior/performance.
On average:
• A toxic worker costs a company $12,800
• 2% of all workers are toxic
• They infect FAST.
And actually – the poison of a toxic worker spans way beyond 25ft:
Researchers said, “You can see their negative imprint and negative effect across an entire floor.”
Now, most people are not toxic.
Unfortunately, most people are not top performers, either…
Most are B players. Middle of the road, just skating by, diligent but not driven types of workers…
2 takeaways here for you:
1. Surround yourself with top performers. It's the cheat code to personal improvement.
2. Toxicity will poison you. Cut it off before you give it the chance.
