@dhanushthings You deserves those appreciation. You put it really nice and simple that anyone can understand. I hope algo push this tweet as it will be really useful for many and so much value in this. I didn't know about the author diversity score. That's kinda new to me.
The brutal truth in 2026:
A post with 100 likes can lose to a post with 20 replies + 15 bookmarks.
Because X no longer rewards “vanity engagement.”
It rewards conversation, retention, and high-intent actions.
That’s why speaking to a tightly defined target audience may creates 10x better engagement than broadcasting to everyone.
How is engagement calculated on X?
X doesn’t just count actions.
The algorithm:
Predicts the probability viewer's do 19+ different things (like, reply, bookmark, etc.)
Multiplies each prediction by a hidden weight.
Adds dwell time, author reputation, and early velocity.
That final score decides your reach
You can find this on the code
Final Score = Σ (weight_i × P(action_i))
Below are the types of engagements that is taken into prediction model.
Early engagement (first 30-60 mins) is rocket fuel.
Conversation > everything else.
This is why two identical posts can have wildly different results.
🚨IF YOU SEE THIS YOU MUST QUOTE POST THIS TWEET🚨
Quick algo Experiment:
Quote posts carry real weight for the original tweet ; reportedly 10-25x more than a like, because they add context and signal quality engagement.
Curious if this still holds strong in 2026.
If you're seeing this and want to test it with me: quote this post with your own take (even a short one) and let's watch what happens to impressions.
Are you ready for thr result? Stay tuned.
@Duckiechad Totally relatable man. IRL always comes first.
One thing that helped me was treating consistency like showing up, not perfection.
Even 1 good post + a few meaningful replies per day compounds fast.
All you need is build that habit up.
I made a mistake.
My impressions dropped. Followers started leaving.
For a second I asked myself: Am I panicking?
No. Not even close.
I’m on a mission — 0 to 60k.
But the unfollows made me reflect.
Why are people leaving? Am I not delivering value?T
hen it hit me: I was engaging with the wrong circle.
So I slowed down, clearly defined my audience (check my bio/header), and started showing up consistently in the right spaces.
I call this healthy growth.
Letting the algorithm reset and relearn who I belong with.
Journey update coming soon.
Tell me what mistake you did that made you regret now?
The real secret to growing your ideal audience on 𝕏 (not just any followers):
If I were you I would be following this 5 steps.
1. Niche down hard.
2. Give insane value before you ask for anything.
3. Show up where they already are.
4. Be consistent with your personality.
5. Diversify your bets (Warren style)
Creators, be honest.
What’s YOUR “silent growth killer” on X right now?
The one thing you think that's quietly tanking your impressions, engagement, or follower growth that most people never notice.
Drop it in the replies 👇 I'll add the most relevant one's on my Article.
Wondering why no impressions on your post?
🚨 X’s feed trick explained 🚨
Just saw Nikita Bier explain X’s feed mechanics.
The app pulls 35 posts at a time. If the same author shows up multiple times in one batch, their extra posts get bumped to the next pull.
Let me put it in simpler terms.
Imagine you're scrolling on X (Twitter) and the app doesn't load everything at once. Instead, it grabs 35 posts like scooping candy from a jar.
Now, if one super active person (like a big celebrity or meme account) posted a bunch in those 35, the app goes:
"Okay, this one dude is taking up too much space."
So it kicks their extra posts down to the next batch of 35. It's like the app is trying to stop one loud friend from hogging the whole group chat so other people can actually be seen.
This is an attempt to reduce clustering - preventing one big account from completely dominating the top of your feed.
So, if you think bursting 20 or 30 post will bring you lot of impressions - burry that idea down the grave.
Remember quality > quantity. Atleast leave 30 mins interval between each posts.
X is better now. fairer. and real builders gets rewarded.
What do you think of X's move on this?
🚨 Today is the day X kills Communities forever (May 30 deadline)
Yes. it's happening. As @nikitabier 's announcement during april may 30th is the end of communities.
Official reason:
Used by <0.4% of users. But most communities were all spam/scams/malware.
I’m saying this is one of the best things for real growth in 2026. My feed is filled with community owners parting their final messages to their community members.
Why X is pushing XChat instead:
Public joinable group chat links.
Limits rising to 350 → 500 → 1000 members.
Forces higher-quality, direct engagement over ghost-town feeds.
If you were in Communities:
Are you migrating to XChat, staying fully public, or going elsewhere (Telegram/Discord)?

Day 2 of Growing my X account from 0 to 60k.
Went from basically nothing to 15.2K impressions (+10,000%).
669 engagements at 4.3% engagement rate
147 profile visits
45 verified followers (out of 63 total)
Biggest spike happened May 28-29.
Reason?: clearly the reply strategy + better original posts are finally clicking on top of it Premium+ subscription.
Also today i stopped commenting on engagement bait posts. The quality of followers i got is related to my niche. I am happy about that.
Still early but the momentum feels real. Thanks to everyone engaging. What should I test next? Let me know.
